Clayton County/Riverdale accident report stated that on May 11, 2015 that the officer at the scene responded to a 3 car accident at SR 138 and Kendrick Road and first noticed that the drivers had been drinking. The investigation revealed that Driver 1 was drunk and not paying attention and ran into the back of Vehicle 2, who in turn sideswiped Vehicle 3. All vehicles received slight damage. No major injuries were reported. Driver 1 was charged with 3 separate charges: DUI, failure to maintain his lane, and for following too closely. Note: Sober up before you drive.
