Fulton County/Dunwoody accident report stated that on July 22, 2015 Driver 1 advised that he was traveling SB on SR GA400 in the shoulder lane when he fell asleep and struck Vehicle 2 in the rear. Driver 2 confirmed that she was traveling in the same direction, behind her, and merged into her lane and struck her vehicle. No injuries were reported and Driver 1 was cited for following too closely and for driving in the wrong lane. Note: If you are sleepy, pull over and rest – don’t drive!
