Clayton County accident report stated that on August 4, 2017 Driver 1 was traveling NB on SR85 in the left lane when she observed another vehicle traveling NB in the left lane at a high rate of speed, which caused her to merge over into the right lane and strike Vehicle 2, which was stopped, in the rear. Driver 2 stated that he was stopped on NB on SR85 when Vehicle 1 struck his vehicle in the rear. No injuries were reported. Driver 1 was cited for Following Too Closely. Note: When driving too fast, and out of control, expect an accident.
