Clayton County accident report stated that on March 2, 2015 Driver 1 advised that all vehicles were driving EB on I-285 at Rex Road, stated he didn’t notice that Vehicle 2 and Vehicle 3, which were in front of her, were slowing down and accidentally ran into the rear of Vehicle 2. Driver 2 advised that when she was struck by Vehicle 1, her vehicle was pushed into the rear of Vehicle 3. Driver 3 advised that she had slowed down for the traffic when Vehicle 2 ran into the rear of her car. Med 7 arrived & checked out all the parties. Passenger 1 complained of chest and arm pains, but refused to go to the hospital. Vehicle 1 had extensive damage to the front bumper, hood and door, and had to be towed. Vehicle 1 had moderate damage to the front and rear bumper. Vehicle 3 had slight damage to the rear bumper. Driver 1 was cited for following too closely. Note: As the traffic slows, just pay attention!
