Clayton County accident report stated that on July 2, 2015 Driver 1 was driving Vehicle 1, S on Tara Blvd.  He stated to the Officer that had been driving a ‘little too close’ to Vehicle 2, a Honda Accord, which was driven by Driver 2.  Driver 2 began to turn into a driveway, when Driver 1 rear-ended Vehicle 2. This accident happened in daylight, but the ground was still wet from a recent shower, so the road was slippery from the oil on the ground mixed with the rain. There was very little damage done to Vehicle 1 on the right side, but extensive damage done rear end of vehicle 2.

Note: When driving on wet streets remember that recent moisture on roads is very slippery so don’t drive too closely to other cars!  Remember that a safe distance is 1 1/2 to 2 car lengths at 25-30 mph  So don’t cruise into other cars!
