Cobb County/Marietta accident report stated that on June 17, 2015 Vehicle 1 was parked at the Shell gas pump when a white BMW SUV backed into him. Driver 1 told Driver 2 that she hit him. And Driver 2 could only respond with, really? She was drunk and he could even smell the alcohol on her breathe. After telling her this, she got back in her car and then proceeded out of the parking lot, hitting another car in the process, and then left the scene before the police arrived. An eyewitness wrote the license number down and the police were able to track down the BMW. When they got to her address, her vehicle did in fact have fresh damage right front bumper, the right door and the rear bumper, where she struck the two vehicles. No injuries were reported. Driver 2 was arrested and cited for DUI, leaving the scene of the incident, improper backing. Note: If you drink, don’t drive, and designate a sober driver.
