Cobb County accident report stated that on January 14, 2015 Driver 2 was stopped at the red light at S. Cobb Drive and E/W Connector, facing SB. Driver 1 was behind Driver 2. When the light turned green, Driver 1 drove forward, striking Driver 2 in the rear end. Driver 2 complained of neck pain, but refused medical treatment. She was advised to go to the hospital since she was experiencing pain. Passenger 2, an infant was not injured, having been in the child safety seat, in the rear seat. Driver 1 was cited for following too closely. Note: It’s always your fault when proper distance is not taken & you hit from rear.
