Cobb County accident report stated that an officer arrived on the scene of an accident, which took place on July 1, 2015 spoke to Driver 1, who was driving on I-75N. Driver 1 recalled that he observed Driver 2 in a stalled car in the middle of his lane on the expressway. Although he tried to avoid hitting the stalled car, he could not, and struck Vehicle 2 on the left rear bumper and rear side panel. After speaking with Driver 2, the officer discovered that Driver 2 had allowed his vehicle to run out of gas and therefore stalled in the middle of I-285. Neither driver received any serious injuries, and the fault of the accident, was given to Driver 2 for stalling in the expressway and causing the accident. Note: Don’t ever get on the expressway with the gas gauge close to E! You may not get to your destination or to a gas station in time, and a stalled car can cause accidents. Always check gauges before driving!
