Fulton County accident report stated that on July 27, 2015, Driver 1 (motorcycle) stated that he was heading north on Roswell Rd crossing over the intersection of I-285 and didn’t see or hear the ambulance until he was in the intersection. He stated that when he heard the siren he laid his motorcycle down to avoid a collision, but the ambulance went through the intersection, when Vehicle 2 collided into his motorcycle. Severe damage was done to the motorcycle and Driver 1’s foot and ankle were injured. Driver 1 was cited for failure to yield to emergency vehicles & to obstructing the intersection. Note: Failure to obey traffic rules results in consequences and citations.
