Clayton County accident report stated that on March 24, 2015 two vehicles were sitting in the middle center lane across from the BP gas station on W. Fayetteville Road, as the officer approached. Based on the testimony given at the crash site it was easy to determine that Driver 1 was at fault. Driver 2 stated that he was making a left turn onto Walker Creek Road when Vehicle 1 just smashed into the rear of his vehicle. Driver 1 had looked down a moment and when she looked back up, could not stop in time to avoid the collision. She complained of much pain in her leg, but refused to be transported to the hospital. Damage was done to both of the vehicles. Driver 1 was cited for following too closely. Note: If you are only 1/2 car length behind someone, newsflash: You Do Not have time to stop w/o colliding!
