Gwinnett accident report stated that on April 17, 2018 Driver 2 was traveling NB in the left turn lane on the Drive exit ramp from I-85NB when Vehicle 1 struck his vehicle in the rear. Driver 1 advised that while following Vehicle 2 she assumed it was moving due to the green turning traffic signal, and rear-ended Vehicle 2. No injuries were reported and Driver 1 was cited for Following Too Closely. Note: Striking from behind in always at fault.
