Fulton County/Sandy Springs accident report stated that on July 23, 2015 an officer was dispatched to an accident on the GA400 NB entrance ramp from Abernathy Rd. Driver 1 admitted that he ‘had not looked up in time, and rammed Vehicle 2.’ Driver 2 said that there were geese in the roadway and that she stopped to avoid running them over and that Vehicle 1 hit her car from behind. Neither vehicle was drivable and the damage was consistent with the statements of the two drivers. Driver 1 was cited for following too closely. Note: One-two car lengths is a safe distance, and people do stop for animals.
