Cobb County/Smyrna accident report stated that on June 14, 2015 a Vehicle 2 was facing WB on Concord Road in the outside lane waiting straight into the side of the 2nd Vehicle, so the eyewitness stated. Driver 1 said that she saw her light turn green. Vehicle 1 was facing EB on the same street and when the light changed and Vehicle1 made her turn, but when asked if she saw a green arrow or light, she could not remember which. Driver 2 stated that she got the green light 1st. The driver’s side front end was damaged on Vehicle 2, as was the side door of Vehicle 2 . No one was injured. Driver 1 was cited for failure to yield. Note: The turning vehicle must always yield.
