Cobb County accident report states that on July 28, 2015 while turning right onto Cooper Lake Road EB, Driver 2 reported that his car was struck from behind by Vehicle 1 and that his car spun out of control and came to rest against on the grassy area near the lake. Driver 2 also stated that his son was in the car at the time, at that he and his son were shaken up, but not injured. But, the front seat passenger was injured and complained back, neck and leg pain. After being removed, both were transported to the Wellstar Med Center & they were treated and released. Vehicle 2 obtained heavy rear end damage and had to be towed away. Driver 1 received a citation for following too close. Note: Always leave at least 1 car length between you and the car ahead.
