Clayton County accident report stated that on July 1, 2015, an officer reported that he made contact with Driver 2 who had been driving North on Mt Zion Blvd.  He told the officer he was stopped at the traffic light at the intersection of Mt Zion Blvd & Mt Zion Pkwy, and that the light  turned green.  Driver 2  told the officer that he proceeded forward and observed that Driver 1 was attempting to make a left turn in front of him, but was unable to stop.  That caused Driver 2 to strike Driver 1’s vehicle.  The officer learned that Driver 1 attempted to make left turn onto Mt Zion Pkwy when her turn2.  There were moderated damages to both vehicles, and Driver 1 was

cited for failure to yield while turning left, and also for seat-belt violation. Note: In observing the rules of the road, remember that the vehicle in the roadway always has the right of way, and that oncoming vehicles must yield the right of way.  So do it to avoid accidents.
