Cobb County accident report states that on July 28, 2015 Driver 1 advised that he was travelling on Atlanta Road in the turn lane driving toward Cumberland Pkwy. He stated that his cell phone fell off the seat and that he leaned down to pick it up. Once he sat up he realized that traffic had stopped, and struck Vehicle 2 in the rear. Driver 2 said he was stopped in turn lane at the light and was struck from the rear. He complained of neck, arm and knee pain but refused treatment. Note: cell phones should be on hands free or speaker when driving!
