Fulton County/Union City accident report stated that on May 10, 2015 the first driver was waiting for the traffic light to change at the intersection of SR138 and Jonesboro Rd. He said the light turned green and he crossed over the number two lane, and made a right turn on Jonesboro Rd when a car driving WB on Jonesboro struck his vehicle before he could clear the intersection. The 2nd driver stated that he was indeed driving WB on SR 138 and that when he was approx 1000 feet from the intersection his light turned green. He saw one car run the red light and Vehicle 2 attempted to make a right turn, on the red light. Driver stated that he could not slow down his tractor trailer enough before striking Vehicle 1. No injuries were reported. Both drivers refused medical condition. Note: Look before you Leap!
